Manchester United midfielder Michael Carrick has admitted that his team will have to perform to their best if they are to progress through to the Champions League semi-finals.
United recorded a 1-1 draw with Bayern Munich at Old Trafford in the first leg of their last-eight clash, but despite avoiding defeat against the European champions, Carrick has insisted that the club won't "get carried away" with the result.
The 32-year-old is quoted by UEFA.com as saying: "We are not getting carried away, we know the task ahead of us is going to be tough and we're going to have to be at our best to get the right result over there.
"However, we still believe that we have a chance and will go over there really positive."
Carrick has made six appearances for United in the Champions League during the current campaign.
