Radamel Falcao two weeks away from return after suffering "new injury"

Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal reveals that Radamel Falcao has suffered a "new injury" and will be out for a further two weeks.

Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal has revealed that Radamel Falcao has suffered a "new injury" and will miss Saturday's Premier League clash against Arsenal at the Emirates.

The Colombian, who moved to Old Trafford on a season-long loan from Monaco on transfer deadline day in September, has not featured for the Red Devils since October 20 due to a calf problem, and is expected to miss a further two weeks.

Van Gaal told MUTV: "It takes time. Next week he shall train, probably with our selection and then he needs two weeks and maybe a game."

Falcao, who is yet to complete a full 90 minutes for United, recently told the club's in-house TV channel that he was "frustrated" by the reports claiming that his injury is linked to the long-term knee problem which ruined his chances of playing in the World Cup.
