Manchester United midfielder Ryan Giggs has admitted that there is a "different" vibe around the club following the departure of Sir Alex Ferguson.

The Scot retired from management at the end of last season after a distinguished career at Old Trafford where he won 13 Premier League title and two Champions League trophies.

Giggs, who is now a player-coach at the club, has revealed that the United players are adjusting to the change under new boss David Moyes.

He told reporters: "It's different, but you just get on with it. It is important to look forward, not back.

"This is the start of the journey this season and I hope to be lifting a trophy again at the end of it."

United are currently on their pre-season tour of Asia and Australia, and fell to defeat in their opening game against Singha All Star XI.
