Manchester United's David Moyes expects good performance against West Bromwich Albion

David Moyes is hopeful that Manchester United will put in a good performance against West Bromwich Albion this weekend.

Manchester United manager David Moyes is hopeful that his side will put in a good display against West Bromwich Albion following their last Premier League defeat.

The English champions suffered a 4-1 defeat at the hands of Manchester City on Sunday, but responded with a 1-0 triumph over Liverpool in the Capital One Cup on Wednesday.

"I would hope you would have known the type of reaction you would get from the players at this club," Moyes told reporters. "They were hurt by the defeat and were determined to put it right.

"I hope they show the supporters again tomorrow. They did not enjoy the City result and we will try and make sure it doesn't happen again."

Moyes has confirmed that striker Robin van Persie is available for the encounter.
