The 22-year-old joined the Championship side in July on what was meant to be a season-long deal.
Hull City tweeted: "On-loan GK Ben Amos has been recalled by Man Utd. We'd like to thank him for his efforts, and we wish him all the best for the future."
Amos had played 19 times in all competitions for the Tigers this season.
