The agent of Sevilla forward Carlos Bacca has revealed that AC Milan have been in contact over the Colombian's services.
The 28-year-old is one of the most in-demand strikers in European football following another impressive campaign for Sevilla.
Manchester United have been strongly linked with the striker, but according to Sergio Barila, Milan are the team that have made the first move.
"Milan have asked for information on the player. We want to talk with Sevilla to understand which solutions they have from other clubs and we have to see them out of respect," Barila told reporters.
"If the player is put on the market, there will be a chance [he moves on]. Carlos wants to play in Europe and next year Sevilla plays in the Champions League - he's happy because he wants to play in it.
"Here it goes with the family but if there is a good opportunity [elsewhere] we will take it into consideration. But I must first consult with the leadership."
Bacca has scored 49 times for Sevilla in little over 100 games, including a brace in the Europa League final last week.
