Radamel Falcao 'will leave his mark on Manchester United'

Portuguese agent Jorge Mendes tips misfiring striker Radamel Falcao to be a success at Manchester United.

Portuguese agent Jorge Mendes has predicted that Radamel Falcao will rediscover his form at Manchester United, whether the club sign him permanently or not.

The Colombian's future at the Red Devils has been thrown into doubt, with manager Louis van Gaal claiming that the former Atletico Madrid man still needs to prove himself.

However, Mendes claims that Falcao, who is on loan from Monaco, will make United a better team.

He is quoted by The People as saying: "Falcao is a Manchester United player. Falcao will ¬become Falcao again. He'll be a great player with United.

"The problem is that in football you have a short memory. When a player is injured, after six or seven months without competing, people forget, but in the end the player is the same.

"Falcao is a top player who will leave his mark on United's season. He will help them a lot and they'll be very much better with him."

Falcao has four goals in 16 appearances for United this season.
