Roma midfielder Lorenzo Pellegrini has emerged as a possible transfer target for both Manchester United and Chelsea.
During the summer, Pellegrini returned to the Stadio Olimpico after spending a two-year spell with Sassuolo, where he contributed nine goals in 47 league appearances.
The 21-year-old has since gone on to establish himself as a key member of Eusebio Di Francesco's first-team squad, with six starts being made in Serie A this season, but it appears that the Italian international's displays are attracting interest from elsewhere.
According to Tutto Mercato, both United and Chelsea are interested in adding the player to their ranks in the near future, with an approach made more likely due to Pellegrini's release clause.
As it stands, clubs can secure permission to talk to the central midfielder with a bid of €25m (£22.1m).
