Manchester United are reportedly currently in discussions with Alaves over the possibility of a loan deal for teenage attacker Facundo Pellistri.
The 19-year-old joined the Red Devils from Penarol last October but is yet to make his first-team debut for the English giants, featuring at Under-21s and Under-23s level since his arrival.
United are open to allowing the attacker to spend the rest of the season out on loan, and Club Brugge were thought to be at the head of the queue approaching the final stages of the window.
However, according to Goal, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side have entered into discussions with La Liga side Alaves, and Pellistri favours a move to Spain over Belgium.
The Uruguayan has scored three times at Under-21s and Under-23s level for United but has recently been unavailable for selection due to a positive coronavirus test.
Alaves are currently on a run of four straight defeats in all competitions and currently sit down in 18th position in La Liga ahead of this weekend's clash with Getafe.
