Manchester United 'interested in Colombian teenager'

Colombian youngster Sebastian Girado is being watched by Manchester United, according to a report.

Manchester United are reportedly 'interested' in signing Colombian youngster Sebastian Girado.

The 15-year-old scored on his first-team debut for Real Cartagena against Atletico FC in the BetPlay Dimayor Cup on Thursday.

According to AS in Colombia, United have expressed an interest in signing Girado, who has been described as 'a promise of Colombian football'.

The publication claims that the teenager has 'impressive scoring records' in the youth leagues, with United being drawn to the striker due to his volume of goals.

Girado was also recently presented with a United shirt with his name and the number nine on the back by the English club's former assistant manager Carlos Queiroz, who is currently in charge of the Colombian national side.

The Red Devils have only previously had one Colombian player represent their first team, with Radamel Falcao turning out for the club on loan from Monaco during the 2014-15 campaign.
