Report: Manchester United prepare Gareth Bale, Cristiano Ronaldo bids

Manchester United are reportedly preparing bids for Real Madrid pair Gareth Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Manchester United are reportedly preparing a double bid for Real Madrid's Gareth Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo.

United are said to have had two bids rejected for Bale in January but the Mirror claims that they believe they can persuade Real Madrid to sell the Welshman.

Ronaldo could also return to Old Trafford, according to the same publication, with United reportedly monitoring his relationship with Rafa Benitez.

The David de Gea transfer saga, which ended in the goalkeeper's move falling through, is not believed to have had an effect on future transfer negotiations between the clubs.
