David Moyes coy on Gareth Bale bid

Manchester United manager David Moyes refuses to rule out a move for Tottenham Hotspur's Gareth Bale.

Manchester United manager David Moyes has refused to rule out reports that he is interested in bringing Gareth Bale to Old Trafford.

Despite seemingly being set for a world record-breaking move to Real Madrid, a report emerged claiming that an unnamed second club were keen on buying the Welshman.

When quizzed on whether that club was the Red Devils, Moyes said that United were always looking at the finest talent from around the world.

"Manchester United is always interested in the best players," Moyes told Sky Sports News.

"The owners have given me every opportunity to bring in whoever I want and we're always looking at the best players. Unfortunately, it hasn't worked out too much so far [in the transfer window].

"I can't give you any more than that right now."

Moyes was speaking after his side's 0-0 draw at home to Chelsea this evening.
