Barcelona winger Ousmane Dembele is reportedly the only player Manchester United are considering signing on loan on deadline day.
United's search for a new right-winger has gone all the way down to the final day of the transfer window due to Borussia Dortmund's refusal to budge on their asking price for Jadon Sancho.
Dembele has emerged as an alternative to the England international, although United would only be able to afford a loan deal for the Barcelona forward initially.
Barcelona have reportedly agreed terms to sign former United winger Memphis Depay from Lyon, which the Daily Mail claims could open the door for Dembele to make a late loan switch to Old Trafford.
It is expected to be a busy deadline day for United, with deals for Edinson Cavani, Alex Telles and Facundo Pellistri also thought to be in the pipeline.
The Red Devils were thumped 6-1 at home to Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday, prompting renewed calls for them to strengthen their squad after only signing Donny van de Beek so far this summer.
