Report: Jose Mourinho wants Harry Kane at Manchester United

Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane is reportedly Jose Mourinho's number one target if he is given the manager's job at Manchester United.

Jose Mourinho has reportedly made Harry Kane one of his main summer transfer targets if he is appointed the new manager of Manchester United.

A report in Spain has claimed over the last 24 hours that Mourinho has signed a pre-contract agreement with the Red Devils.

According to The Independent, should the Portuguese's arrival be rubber-stamped, one of his first acts will be to make a move for Tottenham Hotspur centre-forward Kane.

It has been suggested that Mourinho is an admirer of the 22-year-old's workrate from the front, as well as his goal record since breaking into the Spurs side on a regular basis in 2014.

Yet, the North Londoners are thought to be determined to keep hold of the England international, with a bid of at least £60m required for negotiations to open.
