Ian Holloway remains positive despite drawing blank against Fulham

Millwall manager Ian Holloway is happy with his team's performance in their 0-0 draw with Fulham.

Millwall manager Ian Holloway was encouraged by his team's performance in their 0-0 draw at home to Fulham this afternoon.

The Lions wasted several opportunities, particularly through striker Lee Gregory, to break the deadlock, but Holloway insists that his side will start finding the back of the net if they continue to play well.

Holloway told the club's official website: "It is only a matter of time if we keep getting that many crosses into the box. There were enough opportunities for us and in the end we did everything but score.

"But I believe we have the players here who will score the goals for us between now and the end of the season. That is the only thing we are lacking at the moment. Defensively we look very good and Alan Dunne and Jos Hooiveld were both fantastic. Jimmy Abdou was brilliant playing out of position at right-back.

"The crowd were great once again and they were just desperate to see us get that goal. It would have really lifted the place. Hopefully we can build on this on Tuesday against Sheffield Wednesday. The lads can't wait to get out there again and try to get that win at home."

Millwall sit 22nd in the Championship table, three points adrift of safety.
