MK Dons manager Karl Robinson reportedly prepares a bid for Sheffield Wednesday forward Ryan Lowe.

MK Dons are said to be planning a bid for Sheffield Wednesday forward Ryan Lowe.

Despite featuring for seven English clubs during his 13-year career, the 33-year-old has yet to make an appearance above the third tier.

Lowe played 26 times last season - scoring eight goals - as the Owls were promoted as League One runners up.

However, the player may now miss out on making his Championship debut as Dons boss Karl Robinson has made him his number one transfer target, according to Sky Sports News.

Wednesday begin the new season with a trip to Oldham Athletic in the League Cup on August 13.
