Preview: FC Nordsjaelland vs. Chelsea

Chelsea travel to Danish champions FC Nordsjaelland tomorrow night. Here, Sports Mole previews the encounter.

Danish champions FC Nordsjaelland have never faced English opposition in their 21-year history.

They had also never appeared in the Champions League until this season.

Head coach Kasper Hjulmand only has one injury absentee for the visit of Chelsea in the form of 22-year-old striker Joe Sise. As a result, Mikkel Beckmann is expected to feature as a lone frontman.

Meanwhile, Cesar Azpilicueta is expected to make his first start in the Champions League for Chelsea.

Veteran midfielder Frank Lampard could also be recalled to the starting lineup.

The Blues last took on Danish opposition two years ago when they defeated FC Copenhagen 2-0 on aggregate in the last 16 of the competition.
