Angel di Maria's first goal for Paris Saint-Germain has given the French champions a slim lead over Malmo in the Champions League Group A match at Parc des Princes.
The Swedish side finished bottom of their group on their return to the competition last season, and they were on level terms for just four minutes before the French champions struck.
Di Maria was slipped in down the right-hand side and he opened his body up to curl a finish past Johan Wiland to score his first goal for the club and get PSG's European campaign off to the best possible start.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic, returning to the starting lineup to face his former club, should have doubled the lead when he headed Gregory van der Wiel's cross over the bar from close range as Laurent Blanc's side pressed for a second.
The Malmo native had two further chances in the next few minutes to get his name on the scoresheet, first when his tame effort was saved by Wiland before he just could not get a shot away after bringing Di Maria's pass down with his chest.
The chances kept coming for the home side as Matuidi completely missed the ball from Ibrahimovic's knock-down and Di Maria curled over, but Malmo could have stolen an equaliser shortly before the break.
The visitors moved the ball quickly into the path of Nikola Djurdjic who beat Van der Wiel with ease before flashing across the face of goal to give Blanc and his players something to think about throughout the half-time interval.
