Team News: Zlatan Ibrahimovic starts for Paris Saint-Germain against former club Malmo

Zlatan Ibrahimovic starts for Paris Saint-Germain against his former club Malmo in the Champions League group opener at Parc des Princes.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic will start for Paris Saint-Germain against his former club Malmo in the Champions League group opener at Parc des Princes.

The striker, who scored 16 goals in 40 Allsvenskan games for the Swedish champions between 1999 and 2001, has replaced Lucas Moura alongside Edinson Cavani and Angel di Maria in attack for Laurent Blanc's side.

The Sweden international's return is one of three changes for the French champions as they look to bounce back from failing to win for the first time this season after they were held to a 2-2 draw by Bordeaux on Friday.

Gregory van der Wiel will replace Serge Aurier at right-back, while David Luiz has been preferred to Marquinhos alongside captain Thiago Silva in the heart of defence.

Meanwhile, the visitors have made just one change from the side which beat Celtic 2-0 in the playoff round second leg three weeks ago, with Felipe Carvalho coming in for Vladimir Rodic.

Paris Saint-Germain: Trapp; Van der Wiel, Silva, Luiz, Maxwell; Motta, Verratti, Matuidi; Di Maria, Ibrahimovic, Cavani
Subs: Sirigu, Marquinhos, Kurzawa, Lucas, Rabiot, Pastore, Lavezzi

Malmo: Wiland; Tinnerholm, Bengtsson, Carvalho, Arnason, Yotun; Adu, Berget, Lewicki; Rosenberg, Djurdjic
Subs: Andersson, Vindheim, Rakip, Molins, Eikrem, Rodic, Sana
