Paris Saint-Germain coach Carlo Ancelotti has expressed his delight at his side's 2-0 home win against Marseille on Sunday.
An own goal from Nicolas N'Koulou and a Zlatan Ibrahimovic strike saw PSG pick up all three points at Parc des Princes.
"It's a good result, despite a very difficult game," Ancelotti told reporters after the match.
"These three points are very important because they increase the gap from Marseille to eight points tonight.
"They caused us a lot of problems tonight. We defended very deep, but it wasn't necessarily by choice. We should have controlled things better, even if we did carve out some clear cut chances."
PSG are currently three points clear at the top of Ligue 1.
