Zlatan Ibrahimovic to be handed starting spot against Marseille?

Zlatan Ibrahimovic will return for Paris Saint-Germain in a starting role against Marseille on Sunday, according to reports.

Paris Saint-Germain manager Laurent Blanc has decided to hand a starting role to the returning Zlatan Ibrahimovic against Marseille on Sunday, according to reports in France.

It had already been revealed that Ibrahimovic is likely to be ready to make his eagerly-anticipated comeback from a heel injury against the Ligue 1 leaders, and his performance in training is believed to have convinced Blanc that he can handle the challenge of starting the match.

According to Le Parisien, the Swedish forward will return to form a strike partnership with the in-form Edinson Cavani in a move which is set to see either Lucas or Ezequiel Lavezzi drop to the bench.

Ibrahimovic started the league campaign with five goals in five matches before injuring his heel in September.
