Zlatan Ibrahimovic: 'We won a very difficult match against Bastia'

Paris Saint-Germain striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic talks up his side's Ligue 1 victory after overcoming Bastia in a "very difficult match" at the Stade Armand Cesari.

Paris Saint-Germain frontman Zlatan Ibrahimovic has revealed his delight after beating Bastia in what he has described as a "very difficult match".

The Sweden international's brace was enough for Laurent Blanc's men to claim a 2-0 victory away from home as they aim to retain their current Ligue 1 crown.

"It's a good result because we won a very difficult match," said Ibrahimovic, according to the club's official website.

"We all remember our bad performance here last season [a 4-2 loss], but today we got the three points and keep moving forward in our quest to win trophies.

"Wednesday's match against Real Madrid will be completely different. We'll be playing at home, against one of the best teams in the world, It will be nice. Now we can focus on that match - we're ready."

PSG currently hold top spot in the league standings, having put together 26 points from 10 league games this term.
