Marseille playmaker Mathieu Valbuena says that Paris Saint-Germain have not been dominant in Ligue 1 this season despite their finances.

Marseille playmaker Mathieu Valbuena feels that despite their resources, Paris Saint-Germain have failed to impress this season.

PSG are top of Ligue 1, but the 28-year-old believes that they have yet to set the league alight, despite their financial muscle.

"They have always been at the top, but they have not dominated the championship," he told Le Parisien.

"They have quality in all departments, and the fluency of their game enables them to compete with the big European clubs.

"They have alternated between very good and not very good [this season]."

The two teams meet tonight at Parc des Princes.
