Reims went ahead for the first time shortly before the break when Gaetan Charbonnier crossed the ball in for Antoine Devaux, who lunged at the ball from close range to ensure that his side led at the break.
PSG searched for an equaliser at the start of the second half, quickly winning a corner, but Placide gathered the ball straight from the delivery into the box to protect Reims's advantage.

Ibrahimovic had another chance to add to his earlier goal when the visitors were awarded a free kick around 35 yards out, but he sent his shot straight into the wall.
The striker made amends a few minutes later though when the keeper spilled an Ibrahimovic shot into the back of the net.
PSG pushed for a winner inside the final 15 minutes, with the first chance falling to Pastore, but he was denied by Placide.
Edinson Cavani came close in the final minute before stoppage time as he attempted to head in from a corner, nodding the ball into the side-netting, leaving the sides level.
