Paris Saint-Germain defender Diego Lugano reveals that he will seek a move away from Parc des Princes during the January transfer window.

Paris Saint-Germain centre-back Diego Lugano has revealed that he will seek a move away from Parc des Princes during the January transfer window.

The 31-year-old Uruguay international has yet to feature this season, having fallen behind Alex and Thiago Silva in Carlo Ancelotti's defensive pecking order.

"In January, I'll try to move to a team where I can play more often," Lugano told Radio 22 Universal.

"But if [PSG] decide not to let me go, I won't be opposed to the idea."

Gremio and former club Sao Paulo have both been credited with an interest in Lugano, who has been capped 72 times at senior international level.
