Jose Mourinho accepts the blame for Real Madrid's troubles this season.

Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho has accepted responsibility for the Spanish club's troubles this season.

Madrid are already eight points adrift in the La Liga title race after losing at the weekend, but the former Chelsea boss has refused to blame his players.

"The one who is responsible is me," he told reporters.

Madrid face Manchester City in the Champions League group stages on Tuesday.
