Real Madrid manager Rafael Benitez has revealed that he was delighted with his side's 3-1 win at Celta Vigo because they achieved it without several key players.
Karim Benzema, Gareth Bale and James Rodriguez missed out on the victory that put Real top of the table through injury.
"These games, with missing players, allowed us to use the whole squad," the Spaniard told reporters. "To keep winning is a very positive sign, not just for the results, but for the future.
"We created many chances, but suffered for not getting a third goal when we needed to. We must be positive as that is a great result after a tough game on Wednesday against PSG.
"The team showed character and quality. We held on, took the three points in the end against very good team at a very difficult place to go."
Cristiano Ronaldo, Danilo, and Marcelo were on target for Real, with Nolito netting Celta's consolation.
