Toni Kroos pleased with "very comfortable" debut

Toni Kroos says that he felt "very comfortable" during his league debut for Real Madrid against Cordoba on Monday evening.

Toni Kroos has said that he felt "very comfortable" during his Real Madrid league debut on Monday evening.

The German international, who arrived at Madrid from Bayern Munich this summer, was part of the team that beat Cordoba 2-0 at the Bernabeu.

"I felt very comfortable on the pitch," Kroos told reporters.

"This victory is important. The first match of the league is always tough and we managed to win. We've had a series of very intense matches. Now we have a week to prepare for the next one.

"The visit to Real Sociedad will be difficult but we will go all out for victory at the Anoeta."

Kroos was deployed in central midfield alongside Luka Modric last night.
