Jose Mourinho says that he enjoys the full support of Real Madrid's directors, despite trailing Barcelona by 11 points in La Liga.

Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho has maintained that he enjoys a good relationship with the club's directors, despite their stuttering domestic campaign.

Los Blancos are currently third in La Liga and trail Barcelona by 11 points, but the former Chelsea manager believes that he still has the backing of the Madrid board.

"Now, I have a very, very, very good relationship, absolutely superb relationship with the President, and [CEO] Jose Angel Sanchez," said Mourinho.

"Here I am working as I have for many years. There is no question, the relationship with the club is as usual."

Madrid take on Alcoyano in the second leg of their Copa del Rey clash at Santiago Bernabeu on Tuesday night.
