Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos has admitted that he and his teammates are "struggling" this season.

The defending Spanish champions lost 1-0 at Sevilla in La Liga on Saturday, their second defeat in four league matches.

"The team is struggling to win in the league but take nothing away from Sevilla," said Ramos after the match.

"They're difficult opponents and they suffocated us on the pitch. Even so, we could have played better."

Madrid are currently 10th in the league table with just four points from as many matches.
