Xabi Alonso open to MLS move

Real Madrid midfielder Xabi Alonso refuses to rule out a move to the MLS.

Xabi Alonso has revealed that he would be interested in moving to the MLS when he eventually departs Spanish outfit Real Madrid.

The Spanish international, who recently signed a new two-year deal with Los Blancos, has also claimed that he could return to former club Real Sociedad.

"Moving to the USA? I don't reject that in the future," he told France Football.

"We'll see how I feel in two years' time. I don't discount anything – Europe, Real Sociedad or staying longer at Real Madrid if I notice that I still have the physical abilities."

Alonso is currently on international duty with Spain.
