Dave Jones happy with robust Sheffield Wednesday

Sheffield Wednesday manager Dave Jones praises his players for their solidity after Saturday's 1-0 win over Leicester City in the Championship.

Sheffield Wednesday manager Dave Jones has praised his players for their experience after Saturday's 1-0 win over Leicester City in the Championship.

Connor Wickham found the net in the second half at the King Power Stadium to end a run of two straight defeats for the Owls.

"I think we were a bit naive earlier in the season in what we were doing and it took us a little time to adapt. We have lost that naivety and become a bit more solid," Jones told Sky Sports News.

"Hopefully the run will continue because the players had to put a shift in today against a very good side."

Wednesday have climbed up to 19th place in the table with the victory.
