Ronald Koeman has reportedly emerged as a strong contender for the vacant managerial role at Southampton, with the South Coast club set to name a new boss within a fortnight.
The Dutchman is leaving Feyenoord this summer and, according to The People, the 51-year-old is one of the names on a final shortlist for the Saints position.
Southampton are also believed to be looking at former Basel coach Murat Yakin and ex-Brighton and Hove Albion manager Oscar Garcia as possible successors to Mauricio Pochettino.
It is thought that Koeman's record with young players could be a key factor in securing him the job.
Southampton's managerial hot seat became vacant after Pochettino left the club to become Tottenham Hotspur boss last week.
