Bournemouth chairman Eddie Mitchell refuses to discuss claims that Harry Redknapp could take over at the League One club.

Bournemouth chairman Eddie Mitchell has refused to distance himself from claims that Harry Redknapp could take over at the League One club.

Mitchell announced on Wednesday that Paul Groves had been sacked as boss of the club, with suggestions that Redknapp was ready to take over.

However, when questioned on the future of Redknapp, Mitchell answered with a "no comment" on Sky Sports News.

Redknapp has been out of management since leaving Tottenham Hotspur in the summer.
