Tottenham goalkeeper Brad Friedel has revealed that he thinks Andre Villas-Boas is capable of delivering trophies this season.
Friedel admitted that he is impressed with his new Portuguese coach and is excited at Spurs' prospects for the new campaign.
He told the Daily Star: "I'm very impressed with him - he seems confident, diligent, organised and professional.
"He wants us to win trophies and the players need to buy into that way of thinking. You can't just aim for a top-four finish, you have to believe you can win the title."
The 41-year-old American will expect to be start as Spurs begin the Premier League away to European rivals Newcastle United on August 18.
