Ruud Gullit: 'Louis van Gaal to Tottenham Hotspur is a done deal'

Former Netherlands star Ruud Gullit reveals that Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy has held talks with Louis van Gaal.

Former Netherlands and AC Milan forward Ruud Gullit has claimed that a deal is all but done for Louis van Gaal to become the next Tottenham Hotspur manager.

There has been speculation over Tim Sherwood's long-term future ever since he took over from Andre Villas-Boas at the end of last year.

Gullit, who also managed in England with Chelsea, revealed that Spurs chairman Daniel Levy met with Van Gaal over the weekend.

"I know for sure the chairman of Tottenham was at Van Gaal's house," Gullit told BBC Sport. "I think it's a done deal, but you never know."

Van Gaal, who will leave his post as Netherlands manager after the World Cup, has made no secret of his desire to manage in the Premier League.
