Jamie O'Hara: Wolves will be 'force to be reckoned with' next season

Jamie O'Hara predicts Wolves will become a mid-table club next season.

Jamie O'Hara has predicted that Wolves will become a mid-table club next season.

The 24-year-old midfielder signed a 5-year deal with the Molineux side yesterday after spending the second half of last season on loan there from Spurs.

"It's going to be sad leaving Tottenham," he said. "I had a great career there and the fans were always different class with me, but it's one of those things. I had to move on."

O'Hara, who is engaged to model Danielle Lloyd, added that he was "ecstatic" with the transfer, describing it as "everything I could have asked for".

Wolves finished last season in 17th place, narrowly avoiding relegation by one point on a tense final day.

"I don't think we'll have an end to next season like this season," O'Hara predicted. "It's going to be our third season in the Premier League and hopefully we can push on and be a force to be reckoned with. It is definitely a club that is on the way up.

"I think, with the squad and manager we've got, this coming season we've got to be looking at mid-table and then pushing on from there."
