West Bromwich Albion in talks with Tim Sherwood?

West Bromwich Albion reportedly open talks with Tim Sherwood regarding the vacant managerial position at The Hawthorns.

Former Tottenham Hotspur head coach Tim Sherwood has reportedly opened talks over becoming the new boss of West Bromwich Albion.

The Baggies have been searching for a new manager since they parted ways with Pepe Mel at the end of the season, but it is being reported that they are beginning to narrow down their shortlist of potential candidates.

According to the Express & Star, Sherwood has emerged near the top of that list, with talks having already been held with the 45-year-old.

However, it is believed that the West Midlands outfit still have a number of names to talk to, with a final decision on Mel's successor being announced towards the end of next week.
