Lee Clark: 'Jack Butland will not leave'

Birmingham City boss Lee Clark denies that goalkeeper Jack Butland will leave the club this summer.

Birmingham City boss Lee Clark has insisted that young goalkeeper Jack Butland will not be allowed to leave the club unless a "crazy transfer fee" is received.

The 19-year-old has attracted a host of European interest following his performances at youth level, while he has also claimed a place in the Great Britain Olympics squad for this summer.

"If other clubs want my players, I'm cool because it means they're good. But it will take a crazy transfer fee for Jack to leave this club," Clark told reporters.

Southampton and Tottenham Hotspur have both been credited with an interest.
