Report: Tottenham Hotspur target Alvaro Morata

Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata, according to a report.

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly interested in signing Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata.

The 21-year-old has consistently been linked with a move to Arsenal, who tried to bring him in on loan during the January transfer window.

According to The Express, Madrid want to keep Morata at the club as backup to Karim Benzema, but Spurs are confident of signing him on a loan deal.

Madrid have been linked with a move to Luis Suarez in recent weeks and it is believed that they would allow Morata to leave if they managed to sign the Liverpool forward.
