Report: Tottenham Hotspur to bid for Southampton's Morgan Schneiderlin

Tottenham Hotspur are planning to bid £20m for Morgan Schneiderlin despite Southampton's insistence that the midfielder is not for sale, according to a report.

Tottenham Hotspur are planning to bid for Southampton's Morgan Schneiderlin, according to a report.

New Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino knows the 24-year-old midfielder from his time in charge at St Mary's, but has allegedly had an initial offer turned down.

According to The Mirror, the north London outfit will reportedly increase their offer to close to £20m in a bid to bring him to White Hart Lane, but the Saints are believed to value him at £27m.

Schneiderlin's teammate Jay Rodriguez is also rumoured to be a target for Spurs, but Southampton have expressed their determination to keep both players.
