West Ham United are reportedly planning a bid for Tottenham Hotspur centre-back William Gallas.
Hammers boss Sam Allardyce is looking to fill the void left by Abdoulaye Faye and Danny Collins, who made a combined total of 40 appearances for the Upton Park club last season.
Gallas, 34, started 15 Premier League games last season but, with the planned arrival of Jan Vertonghen and the return to fitness of Michael Dawson, he is likely to slip down the defensive pecking order at White Hart Lane.
As Gallas is on a lucrative contract and largely surplus to requirements, Spurs chiefs would be willing to allow the former France international to join their London rivals for a modest fee, according to The Sun.
Allardyce is also believed to be interested in former AC Milan midfielder Clarence Seedorf, who has suggested that he would be interested in playing in England.
