Mark Hughes heaps praise on "fantastic" Bojan Krkic

Mark Hughes says that summer signing Bojan Krkic is "really enjoying his time" at Stoke City following an impressive few months at the Britannia Stadium.

Stoke City manager Mark Hughes believes that summer signing Bojan Krkic has proved his doubters wrong by quickly settling into his new surroundings in the Premier League.

The former Barcelona schemer continued his impressive recent performances by converting a penalty that he had won himself to score the only goal of the game against Everton this afternoon.

Hughes was full of praise for Bojan following the 1-0 win, while also applauding referee Lee Mason's decision to point to the spot.

"Bojan did fantastic driving the game and carrying the ball and under those circumstances defenders know they have to be very careful," FourFourTwo quotes the Welshman as saying.

"I thought it was a really good decision by the referee [to award a penalty]. If people see any weakness in Bojan's play they'll say he's not suited for the English game but in the short time he's been here I think he's knocked all those thoughts on the head.

"He is really enjoying his time here at the moment and what's happening to his football right now but he's worked really well and he'll see the rewards for that – and so will we."

Stoke climbed above the Toffees in the Premier League table following today's win.
