The match at the Stadio Olimpico was hampered by heavy snow as both sides failed to make a breakthrough in the first half.

Lazio came close to opening the scoring in the 10th minute, but Lorik Cana's header from a corner hit the post.

The visitors were reduced to 10 men with just 16 minutes on the clock when Michael Ciani picked up his second yellow card of the night.

Torino snatched the points with eight minutes to go as Jonathas poked home from a corner.
