Chilean international Eduardo Vargas has admitted that he cannot wait to turn out for Valencia after joining the Spanish side on loan from Napoli.
The 24-year-old, who moved to Italy in 2012, has struggled for first-team football in recent months, but will now spend the remainder of the season in La Liga.
"I hope to contribute a lot and help the team, and if that means scoring goals, so much the better," he told reporters at a press conference.
"I know about Valencia's record and the players, though I wasn't able to see the 2-2 draw against Espanyol on Saturday."
It is believed that Valencia have paid in the region of £1m for the loan deal.
