The Football Association has announced that West Ham United have been handed a £50,000 fine for misconduct during their match against Liverpool last month.
The players surrounded referee Kevin Friend after Mark Noble was sent off in the 78th minute during their 3-0 win at Anfield, resulting in the fine and a warning over future conduct on the pitch.
The club pleaded guilty to the charge, asked for mitigating circumstances to be taken into account, given that Noble's red card was rescinded after the match.
It was the third time in four matches in the Premier League this season that West Ham had had a player sent off.
