Sports Mole previews the Championship clash between two of last season's relegated Premier League sides, Blackburn and Wolves, at Ewood Park.

Blackburn Rovers and Wolverhampton Wanderers meet at Ewood Park on Saturday in a clash of two relegated Premier League sides.

Both teams lost their top-flight status last season, but are seeking an immediate return under new management.

The hosts are currently without a boss after Steve Kean resigned last month, with Eric Black taking caretaker charge.

Black could be without midfielder Dickson Etuhu, who missed the midweek draw against Nottingham Forest with a virus, while Marcus Olsson is still struggling with a hamstring injury.

Colin Kazim-Richards could return in place of Etuhu, with Morten Gamst Pedersen shifting inside to central midfield and Mauro Formica being dropped to the bench.

Republic of Ireland international Kevin Doyle is unavailable for Wolves after picking up a knock in training, while midfield duo Slawomir Peszko and Razak Boukari are also missing.

David Edwards and Bjorn Sigurdarson could be poised for recalls, with boss Stale Solbakken switching to a 4-5-1 system.

Recent form:

Blackburn: DDLWW
Wolves: LWWWW

Possible lineups:

Blackburn: Robinson; Orr, Dann, Givet, Martin Olsson; Lowe, Murphy, Pedersen, Kazim-Richards; Gomes, Rhodes

Wolves: Ikeme; Foley, Johnson, Berra, Ward; Edwards, Henry, Doumbia, Sako, Sigurdarson; Ebanks-Blake

Sports Mole says: 1-0
