Wolverhampton Wanderers' temporary manager Terry Connor has reportedly refused the club's offer of a coaching assistant.
The 49-year-old, who took over at Molineux following Mick McCarthy's sacking last month, has led his side to just one point in four games.
It is believed that Connor has turned down Wolves' offer of bringing in an experienced right-hand man until the end of the season, according to the Express.
The West Midlands club are fighting for survival in the top flight and have nine games to pull themselves out of the relegation zone.
