Stuart Hooper pens Bath contract extension

Bath captain Stuart Hooper pens a contract extension with the Aviva Premiership club.

Bath have confirmed that captain Stuart Hooper has signed a new contract with the club.

The 33-year-old has made nearly 180 appearances for the West Country outfit since 2008.

"Stuart represents everything that's good about Bath," head coach Mike Ford told the club's official website. "I've said before that he's the best captain I've ever worked with. You couldn't ask for a better leader out there on the field and I'm looking forward to working with him again next season."

Bath are back in action on March 29 when they travel to London Welsh in the league.
