Simon Amor: "The atmosphere is amazing"

England rugby sevens head coach Simon Amor describes the atmosphere at the Commonwealth Games as "amazing" heading into the final session at Ibrox.

England rugby sevens head coach Simon Amor has hailed the atmosphere inside Ibrox Stadium for the Commonwealth Games this weekend.

Thousands of fans have attended each session of the sevens so far, with the atmosphere inside the stadium reaching fever pitch at times.

Unsurprisingly, the most vocal support has been reserved for host nation Scotland, but the crowd have also got behind the rest of the home nations as well as a number of underdogs such as Barbados and Uganda.

"The atmosphere is amazing, it's wonderful. The emotion, the atmosphere and the passion of the crowd - Glasgow have done a tremendous job staging this," Amor told reporters.

The crowd is expected to be split for the plate semi-finals later this evening, with Scotland taking on Amor's England side.
